RIDGE NARRATIVE is an independent, reader-supported collection of outdoor stories. We gather and republish articles about hiking, climbing, wildlife, public lands, and the people who spend time in the backcountry.
This site exists to share those stories in one quiet, readable place — a kind of field notebook for anyone who would rather be outside. There is no membership, no store, and no accounts to create.
We organize stories into four simple collections:
Pages are plain static HTML. We use a small amount of JavaScript only for visual effects such as the hero animation, category switching, and the reading-progress bar. We do not collect personal information through forms.
